DAILY ROLE: Create mobile and VR ready, fully textured UI and environments in Maya and Unity. Test results on Oculus Rift.
I worked on two VR apps with VRB. For their 360 photo app, we experimented with a series of 3D UI.
Each of these sets was esentially a new skin for the photo sphere sharing mechanism of the app. Space Station, Refrigerator, Tron, and others.
Another app that we worked on, we built in unity and tested on oculus goggles, was an inhabitable VR mini-city. Populated with cars, subways, sounds, and finally avatars. We were in NYC so we gave it a super Brooklyn vibe.
