TITLE: MADALYN'S SNOW DAY
AUTHOR: ANDRE MIDDLETON
ROLL: ILLUSTRATOR
An interactive story, illustrated with a combination of scanned line drawings and digital coloring. This was a good methode in this case because it lends itself to separating out the elements as they needed to eventually be made interactive. Much like cell shaded animation frames.
I must have been projecting my future when I drew these because I ended up being one of these dads, walking in the snowey brooklyn parks only a few years later with kids.
One of my favorite images from the book.
