Sesame Street Workshop. Digital set model - Elmo's Bedroom
I was fortunate enough to work on some of my favorite IP, and help bring some of Sesame Street's real life sets into the digital realm. It was an amazing experience to be handed photo reference of the real world sets where all of the puppet furniture is up on crates and scaffolding, so that the puppeteers can work standing up and be at floor level. I was always a fan of the work of JIM HENSON and feel like I got to take part in his legacy. I real honor. Shout out to Justin and Yuewen who are great to work with and gave me a lot of freedom, and Ian who thought of calling me in the first place which I greatly appreciate!! Working on these sets was amazing!!
This was the set for ELMO'S living room. I didn't realize how musical his family is, until I worked on this set.
Some of the textures were challenging, to keep them looking stylized but also realistic. Much of the color variation was hand painted in Substance Painter.
