For A Viking's Journey, part of Amplif's Quest for the Core, I created painted backgrounds for an interactive story. I combined painterly, textural detail with 3D elements that gave the scenes shape and focus.
Amplify Quests paired narrative play with English Language Arts learning goals. In A Viking's Journey, activities addressed reading comprehension, vocabulary, morphology, and grammar as third-grade students progressed through the experience.
